Summer XS In The Park!
Simon will headline Summer XS in the park in Milton Keynes on Friday 14th July. And what's more, UK Team will also be performing along with the likes of Journey South and Andy Abrahams!

Simon To Attend MTV Asia Awards!
Simon is currently is Bangkok, Thailand for press and TV interviews with local media culminating in an appearance at the MTV Asia Awards on Saturday night!
Simon will be presenting an award as well as teaming up with local Thai band Titanium for a what promises to be a spectacular performance of his hit single 'No Worries'.

Heart FM Live Lunch
Simon brought 'a little high' to one lucky competition winner and her work colleagues last week when he performed an intimate show in front of 180 guests.
Sandra Green won the competition on behalf of her
work place - Birmingham Midshires in Pendeford, Wolverhampton. She entered the
100.7 Heart FM Live Lunch competition stating why Simon should come along to
perform for her and colleagues.
Simon serenaded Sandra and treated guests to a fantastic performance of his
three hits singles and 'A Little High'.

We received hundreds of entries
from workplaces, but Sandra Green from Birmingham Midshires' Headquarters in
Wolverhampton was the lucky winner of the lunch break of a lifetime with Simon
Webbe, formerly of Blue!
Hundreds
of workers gathered in the canteen, with the action relayed on screens around
the building for those who couldn't leave the office!
Simon performed four songs, including his biggest solo hits Lay Your Hands and No Worries - with our lucky winner Sandra joining him on stage for a once in a lifetime duet!
After the performance, fans clamoured for autographs and pictures of Simon, as well as Ed James and Hellon Wheels.
The event was a huge success, thanks to Simon, and, of course, Sandra and everyone at Birmingham Midshires!

Simon will be travelling to Amsterdam on Saturday to take part in the Queen's Day (Koninginnedag) celebrations in the city.
Simon will be appearing on Radio 538's stage in Museum Square to perform his hit singles 'No Worries' and 'After All This Time' for what is set to be a very orange event!

Wednesday night was the premiere of 'Rollin' with the Nines' in which I play the part of 'Too Fine'. It's the second film which I've been in, the first being 'The Truth About Love'. I enjoy going to premieres but is was great to go to a film premiere where I'm actually in the film! I'm usually late for things but I can't believe I turned up late for the premiere of my own film... When I arrived they were about to close the doors and the film had already started!
It was a great success though and all the cast
showed up... Robbie Gee, Naomi Taylor, Terry Stone, Roffem Morgan, Jason Flemyng,
Billy Murray. A lot of celebs were there also, including the Eastenders crew,
Sugababes, Dexter Fletcher even Jeffery Archer!
'Rollin' with the Nines' is the first Black British gangster film... It's a
shame that the police felt that they needed to get involved and cancel the after
party but that's the way it goes sometimes. The feeling by some people was that
a film like this would glamorise Gun crime and Violence but I don't believe it
will influence people to go out and do the same.
If you see the film (which is cert 18) you will see it is very gritty with
graphic violence scenes... but films are becoming more and more like this these
days! I'm sure some people will find it a bit controversial but for me it was
more a great opportunity to work with some great actors who have been part of
the British acting scene for 10-15years. Acting in the film and seeing the final
result on the big screen was a fantastic experience and I hope it will be the
first of many. The film has a great urban soundtrack and if you see the film
listen out for the UK Team track!

European Promo Trip
Fresh from a very successful promo tour of South East Asia, Simon is back on the road again this time on a small promo European tour taking in Germany, France, Holland and Austria.
Simon will be in Stuttgart on 15th March to film
a performance on Chartbreak Hotel, on the 16th he will be in Paris for
interviews and a showcase, then it's back to Germany on the 17th for more
interviews in Berlin and a performance at an NRJ radio event in Hamburg on the
18th.
Simon will fly out to Holland on 23rd March for further TV appearances and a
performance at the TMF Smash TV event in Amsterdam. From there it's on to
Austria for another showcase and even more press interviews. Phew!

dazzled a captive audience of media yesterday in the Taiwanese capital of Taipei
to promote his debut album 'Sanctuary'.
Simon also performed tracks from 'Sanctuary',
including new single 'After All This Time', and greeted fans who had come along
to get their copies of the album autographed by the man himself!
Simon's South East Asia fans have shown fantastic support helping the album to
secure no.2 chart placing in Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong!

Chart Positions
Simon's 3rd single entered Radio 1 Charts at #16 and #15 on Hit 40 UK Charts. His album however moved up five places to #13. Reason for low chart position can be seen below. Since speaking to Innocent Records I have discovered why and it's because some HMV and Virgin Megastores haven't got there full stock of singles. However it still looks like he will hit Top 20 with the single.

Awww,
this isn't fair. We really don't want to be mean about this song, because Si
seems like such a nice bloke. The problem is that while 'Lay Your Hands' and 'No
Worries' both had that uplifting, epic, verging on gospel-esque quality
to
them, this track is really missing a decent hook. All we have for companionship
is Simon and a strummy 'dum de dum' backing, and while Sime's voice has that
kind of rich, deep quality that sounds more like three people singing in perfect
harmony than one person singing solo, the song itself is a bit limp. Not a bad
song to sing along to in the car, then, but the car will have to provide the
va-va-voom itself. Review at

Simon's Coming To South East Asia!
Simon will be flying off to South East Asia next week for a gruelling schedule of interviews and promo, including signing sessions and a series of live showcases for specially invited guests and competition winners!
Simon will be in Hong Kong from 21st February
to 23rd February for press interviews, TV appearances and a showcase.
From there he will travel to Indonesia for more promo and a showcase at the Hard
Rock Cafe in Jakarta, as well as an appearance on the popular TV show 'Boy
Band'.
Then it's on to Bangkok for a mini showcase and signing sessions at CD Warehouse
in the Siam Discovery Centre (27th), and the B2S music store at Central Chidlom
(28th). Tickets will be available to the first 100 fans to purchase Simon's
album.
Next stop is Singapore on March 3rd for yet another showcase, and then finally
on to Taiwan for signing sessions including a live performance at Shih Men Ding
and Hanshin Square.
Stay tuned to local press and radio for competitions to meet Simon and details
about where he will be appearing.

New single 'After All This Time' released on 20th February
After a massive 2005 which saw Simon Webbe notch up two top five hits, Blue's
key player is back with a third release from the platinum album, Sanctuary.
'After All This Time' is a brilliant slice of acoustic pop with a real story
behind the song.
As Simon explains: "The song is about a couple who don't seem to actually get
on, but they have a bond that keeps them together. She's a strong lady who holds
down a household, but her husband still thinks he's 17 when he's really 60.
They're a couple who've been through thick and thin and back again, they still
love each other, after all this time."
The track is released on 20th February on CD and DVD, both of which feature a
free 2006 calendar!

Good news: Sanctuary is now #16 selling over 450,000 copies. No Worries is #30 on Hit 40 UK and #36 on Radio 1. Also on Radio 1 Charts. Also JK and Joel on Radio 1 gave a Simon Webbe Fact saying Simon was voted best singer in the Urban Category 2005 by a music magazine and they also said they were surprised that Simon wasn't up for the Urban Brit Category.

Went to CD:UK today
Saw Simon Webbe at CD:UK before he entered the studio, Simon performed After All This Time on the show. Wicked Performance from what I saw on TV because unfairly I wasn't allowed entry to be in the audience because of queue pushers. I did see Simon as he was leaving which was cool. Simon Webbe is one step closer to that title of entertainment jack of all trades, having just bagged a modelling contract for designers D Squared.
Si will be jetting off to the catwalks of Milan alongside American actress Brittany Murphy.
Si told the Daily Mirror: "I'm really excited to be chosen for the campaign, and chuffed to be doing it with Brittany. But I am feeling a bit nervous."
We are still talking about modelling here, right?

Simon To Perform at Metro FM's Live at 55 Event
Simon will be travelling up to Newcastle on Tuesday 6th December for a spot of regional promotion and to perform an acoustic set of four tracks from his debut album 'Sanctuary' at Metro FM's Live at 55 Event.
Simon will be on stage at 7.30pm and he will then be joined by Metro Radio presenter Anna Foster for a 10 minute Q&A session with audience.

After a fantastic performance on Friday night's BBC Children In Need, Simon looks set to extend his residency in the UK Top 10 for the third week in a row with his fab single 'No Worries'.
The album 'Sanctuary' is also on the rise and is
sure to find itself in many a Christmas stocking come December 25th!
This evening Si is in Edinburgh to perform 'No Worries' and present a gong at
the Radio Forth Awards.
Later this week Si is off to Italy to appear on Amici and then he travels on to
Germany for radio, tv and press promotion.

Simon has just confirmed that he will be performing 'No Worries' on the BBC's annual Children In Need telethon on Friday 18th November.

Simon will make special appearances at HMV in Ashton-under-Lyne and Trafford on Tuesday 15th November to celebrate the launch of 'Sanctuary'.
Get
yourself down (or up!) to HMV Ashton-under-Lyne (Arcade Shopping Centre,
Warrington Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 7JE) for the official store opening at
12.30pm. Si will be cutting the ribbon and signing copies of 'Sanctuary'.
Si will then head off to HMV Trafford (136 Peel Avenue, TRAFFORD, Manchester,
M17 8BH) where he will be greeting fans and signing copies of the album from
6.00pm onwards.
Both events work on a first come first served basis - there are no wristbands so
get down there early if you don't want to miss out.

Simon has recorded new video for No Worries. Box has removed video from playlist
Simon has recorded the new video for his single earlier this week in North London. Hopefully it will be on the music channels within the next couple of weeks. Schooly on Capital FM will be playing it daily this week till Friday between 7pm and 10pm. The Box has removed video for Lay Your Hands however Smash Hits! The Hits have still got the video on there playlist.

The summer may be almost over but Simon will be bringing some sunshine to Butlins on November 12th when he is set to play a gig at their Minehead resort.
Simon will be showcasing tracks from his debut
album 'Sanctuary' including his new single 'No Worries'. Other acts set to
appear include Girls Aloud, Rachel Stevens, Jo O'Meara, Darius and Steve
Brookstein!

Finds Sanctuary With Debut Album
'Sanctuary' set for release on November 14th!
Simon is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches to his hotly
anticipated solo debut album 'Sanctuary', released on November 14th.
Before that he'll be filming the video for his brand new single 'No Worries'
which he recorded earlier this summer. The track is produced once again by Matt
Prime, who was at the helm for Simon's monster debut hit 'Lay Your Hands'.
The Raft followed Simon on the promo trail earlier this summer and we've got
some great behind the scenes footage from his appearance on MTV TRL for your

Simon scored his first top 5 hit as a solo artist at the weekend when his debut single 'Lay Your Hands' entered the UK Top 40 at No.4!

After speaking to Virgin Records Head Office they said that Simon is currently in Top 5 singles this week as of Tuesday 4pm and is currently Number 2, just over 500 copies short of the number of copies McFly sold. Simon should definitely be at least Top 5 if not higher. I will add Radio 2 Interview with Steve Wright in the next couple of days.

Confusion: Simon's Video Lay Your Hands - The Making, Still at number 1 on the Box.
MTV Hits were meant to show The Making of Lay Your Hands today but instead they showed Lemar's Making the Video for Don't Give It Up, Unsure when it will be shown. It will now be shown on 17th August. Simon is still number 1 on the Box Daily Top 10 at 11am. The selection Number on Smash Hits has changed from 500 to 138. However Simon is nowhere in the 6pm Daily Chart for some reason and I spoke to the Box and the following was said:
"In order to be fair they said they don't allow a artist spend more than 7 days at the top of the daily Box Top 10 chart". I said how can this be if its based on songs chosen by the public, they said this is how it is.
